This is the view at the footbridge (the first one) across the Canal Saint Martin in Paris. There were Arletty and Louis Jouvet when Arletty said (in the film "L'Hôtel du nord") :
"Atmosphère, atmosphère, est ce que j'ai une gueule d'atmosphère ?..."
Here is the look at the Hôtel du Nord from under this footbridge.
This post is for you, Princess Haiku.

Thanks for posting this. The idea of Arletty being there is so romantic. I must admit I have seen the Children of Paradise about ten times. It used to play at a now defunct independent film theater in Berkeley every year. It became a ritual to see it. -Over and over. The first time I saw it I thought Baptiste was right about love and then Garance and then.....
Billy Elliott was a great film. I saw it at the movies and loved the last scene; the swan leaping.
Did you see a film called, "The Company,"-think it was about ABT that had great dancing in it.
Another film you might like is "Bridge to Terabithia." It is very surreal and captures the beauty of childhood but isn't for children. A few days ago I started watching Pans Labyrinth, and didn't like it. It was too dark for my taste.
I'm waiting for "Potter" and heard that it was well done.
